Description

        Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all landscaped areas, gardens, lawns, trees, and pathways to luxury villa standards.
  • Prune trees, shrubs, and flowers; mow, hedge, water, fertilize, and control weeds as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient and sustainable water use.
  • Conduct routine inspections of outdoor spaces, promptly addressing maintenance needs or potential hazards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all exterior areas, including patios, terraces, poolsides, and garden furniture.
  • Safely operate, maintain, and report maintenance needs for all gardening tools and equipment.
  • Ensure proper use and storage of tools, chemicals, fertilizers, and pesticides in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Assist with seasonal planting, mulching, and re-landscaping projects as directed by the Property Manager.
  • Work collaboratively with the villa’s housekeeping, engineering, and guest service teams to maintain a unified property standard.
  • Report any accidents, damages, or hazards immediately to the Property Manager.

·  Passion for gardening and outdoor work.

·  Reliable, punctual, and flexible in responding to villa or guest needs.

·  Positive attitude, professionalism, and discretion when on property.

Key Results Indicators:

  • All exterior grounds and garden areas at the resort are well maintained and healthy.
  •  Timely and high-quality completion of all landscaping and maintenance tasks.

         Specific Technical / General:

  • Minimum of three 3-5 years of Grounds experience.
  • Knowledge of landscaping procedures and Grounds maintenance.
  • Knowledge of pesticide handling and terminology.
  • Interpersonal/human relations skills.
  • Organizational/planning skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors
  • Supervisory skills.
  • 5-star hotel resort experience preferred.
  • Must be self-starter, energetic and motivated.
  • Ability to work at a physically demanding pace.
  • Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds to a maximum height of six (6) feet.
  • Ability to remain standing for lengthy periods of time; climb steps and stairs; stoop, bend, and kneel; push.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at high heights.
  • Ability to load and unload supplies.
