Description
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks, in accordance with the menu and guests’ preferences.
- Mix ingredients like liquor, soda, juice, and syrups to create a wide variety of drinks.
- Prepare garnishes, including fruit, herbs, and other decorative elements, to enhance the visual appeal of drinks.
- Maintain knowledge of drink recipes and keep up to date with new trends in the bar and cocktail industry.
- Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations regarding alcohol service, including age restrictions and responsible serving practices.
- Verify customer identification to confirm legal drinking age when necessary.
- Follow health and safety standards for food handling, cleaning, and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Ensure that all alcohol is stored and handled in accordance with local laws and company policies.
- Upsell premium liquor, cocktails, or food pairings to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
- Assist in developing new drink recipes or specials to keep the menu fresh and exciting for guests.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in mixology, bartending school, or customer service required.
- Previous experience as a bartender.
- Previous Experience working in a fast-paced bar or restaurant.

Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills must be friendly and approachable.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, cocktail preparation, and bar equipment.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple drink orders at once while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs, including kegs, boxes of bottles, and bar equipment.
- Good manual dexterity to mix drinks, operate bar tools, and handle glassware.
- Ability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
