Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to attract elite travel advisors and clientele.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with international luxury travel partners, DMCs, and corporate clients.
- Represent the resort at global trade shows, roadshows, and exclusive sales missions in key feeder markets.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align brand messaging with high-end sales efforts and seasonal campaigns.
- Analyze market data and competitive trends to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Oversee contracting and rate negotiation processes, ensuring compliance with resort revenue goals.
- Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for executive review.
- Ensure each client interaction reflects the resort’s commitment to discreet, personalized service
- Lead sales efforts targeting travel agents, tour operators, and travel agencies. The ideal candidate will have strong industry relationships, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in generating sales and growing partnerships within the travel trade sector.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by promoting our travel products/services to travel agents and travel agencies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing travel trade partners while identifying and developing new accounts.
- Identify market opportunities, attend industry events and trade shows, and prospect for new travel agency partners.
- Educate travel agents about the company’s offerings, promotions, and value propositions through webinars, presentations, and in-person meetings.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and updates to senior management.
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure alignment and maximize campaign effectiveness.
- Arrange VIP arrangements and amenities as needed for Site/FAM visits.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of luxury hospitality sales experience, preferably in a resort setting.
- Established network in the luxury travel segment, including agencies, consortiums, and VIP planners.
- Polished communication and presentation skills with a deep understanding of refined service culture.
- Experience working in or with remote or destination properties is a plus.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable to a dynamic island environment.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales analytics tools.
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally as needed, +/- 50% of the year, including weekends.
