Description
Responsible for the appearance and cleanliness of the guest rooms, including Villa rooms, public areas, and linen closets, assist in Laundry duties when the need arises. Ensure that cleaning and laundry products are used safely and properly.

- Appearance
- Wears a clean and complete uniform daily including nametag, buttons, proper shoes, neat hair, etc.
- Maintains a professional appearance and attitude.
- Room Cleanliness
- Consistency in cleaning rooms and public areas as trained and instructed.
- Separate all stained linen and put in pillowcase.
- Room Completion Time
- Must be able to work quickly and efficiently without wasted motion.
- Attendance
- Does not leave property until dismissed by Supervisor.
- Is ready to begin work at scheduled time.
- Punches in at scheduled time, not early, in complete and proper uniform.
- Hospitality Towards Guests
- Greets guests either with a 'Hello' or 'Good-Bye'.
- Keep noise to a minimum in corridors.
- Honor any Do-Not-Disturb sign on door. Contact Supervisor at noon for further instructions.
- Keep hallways uncluttered and neat looking, including keeping cart in front of guest room doors.
- Cooperation with Supervisors / Managers
- Bag, tag and turn in all lost and found items immediately to Supervisor.
- Obtain work list from Supervisor.
- Make minor repairs as instructed.
- Cooperation with Co-workers
- Keep all storage areas neat.
- Clean vacuum cleaner and change bag at the end of day.
- Remove all trash from carts at end of the day and dispose of properly. Keep carts clean and well maintained.
- Cooperation with other Departments
- Fill out maintenance request forms properly. Report all maintenance problems to Supervisor.
- Assist with the energy management program by leaving lights off after room is clean and leaving heater/air conditioner on appropriate setting.
- Perform any related duties as assigned by supervisor. Assisting all other employees in their duties when required.

Specific Technical / General:
- Some housekeeping experience preferred.
- Basic reading, writing and math skills.
- Good guest service skills.
- Ability to work with a team and independently.
- Ability to work at a physically demanding pace.
- Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds to a maximum height of six (6) feet.
- Ability to remain standing for lengthy periods of time; climb steps and stairs; stoop, bend, and kneel; push.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at high heights.
- Ability to load and unload supplies.
