The Spa Manager is responsible for all day-to-day operating functions of the Spa and Department. This position is responsible for overall recruitment, revenue generation, service, quality, presentation, maintenance, and ambiance of the Spa. This includes ensuring compliance with Policies and Procedures, quality control, and building strong relationships with guests and staff.

The Spa Manager is responsible for all day-to-day operating functions of the Spa and Department. This position is responsible for overall recruitment, revenue generation, service, quality, presentation, maintenance, and ambiance of the Spa. This includes ensuring compliance with Policies and Procedures, quality control, and building strong relationships with guests and staff.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, vision, and direction to the Spa team to accomplish resort and department goals and cultivate a strong team atmosphere focused on guest and team member engagement and satisfaction. Lead with trust, respect and by example.
- Hiring, training, and managing all staff.
- Coordination of guest correspondence.
- Creating and enforcing Policies and Procedures.
- Developing merchandising plans to maximize product sales.
- Overseeing finances, including P & L review, annual budgets, budget and performance controls, budgets and revenues, monthly financial variance reports, daily sales activities, inventory, and payroll.
- Oversee Spa purchases.
- Maintaining quality control, with regard to services, cleanliness, and products.
- Interacting with the press to plan media events.
- Achieving all Spa retail sales goals.
- All Spa functions, including Spa grounds area.
- Perform any related duties as assigned by supervisor. Assisting all other employees in their duties when required.

Specefic Technical/ General:
- Must possess a degree or diploma in a related spa field. AS degree in related field and/or equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years management experience in a high-volume retail Spa/ salon.
- Must possess a working knowledge of Spa operations and treatments in all applicable departments i.e., Salon Services and Products, Massage Modalities, Skin Care and Esthetic Services and Fitness/Wellness.
- Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and business skills.
- Must have strong computer/IT and Microsoft Excel skills.
- Must demonstrate a professional, effective demeanor and maintain standards of excellence in guest service.
- Must display the ability to work with a variety of people of different cultures, ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds and remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
- Attends local spas and salons to assess variety of standards and continually to gain and implement new ideas.
- Retail and product knowledge, with experience in developing promotional strategies.
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, to handle critical situations utilizing good judgment.
