Description
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and properly maintain dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment.
- Wash and sanitize all china, glassware, silverware, kitchen tools, pots, and pans according to resort standards.
- Follow all established cleaning and sanitation procedures for equipment, surfaces, and storage areas.
- Ensure that the dishwashing area, kitchen floors, walls, and workstations are kept clean, organized, and free of debris at all times.
- Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety and resort protocols.
- Assist with transporting soiled dishes, utensils, and service ware from dining outlets or staff cafeterias to the dish area as needed.
- Return clean and sanitized items to their proper storage locations promptly and neatly.
- Empty and clean garbage bins regularly and ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables.
- Assist culinary and service teams with setup or breakdown of buffet and cafeteria areas when required.
- Support the culinary team with basic prep, food transport, or cafeteria service as directed by supervisors.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations as outlined by the resort and local health authorities.
- Perform additional cleaning or support duties as assigned by management to maintain operational excellence.
