Description

         Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and properly maintain dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment.
  • Wash and sanitize all china, glassware, silverware, kitchen tools, pots, and pans according to resort standards.
  • Follow all established cleaning and sanitation procedures for equipment, surfaces, and storage areas.
  • Ensure that the dishwashing area, kitchen floors, walls, and workstations are kept clean, organized, and free of debris at all times.
  • Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety and resort protocols.
  • Assist with transporting soiled dishes, utensils, and service ware from dining outlets or staff cafeterias to the dish area as needed.
  • Return clean and sanitized items to their proper storage locations promptly and neatly.
  • Empty and clean garbage bins regularly and ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables.
  • Assist culinary and service teams with setup or breakdown of buffet and cafeteria areas when required.
  • Support the culinary team with basic prep, food transport, or cafeteria service as directed by supervisors.
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations as outlined by the resort and local health authorities.
  • Perform additional cleaning or support duties as assigned by management to maintain operational excellence.

  • Knowledge of commercial dishwashing equipment and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and transport up to 50 pounds safely.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Understanding of chemical safety and cleaning procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene excellence.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours.
